Vallis Henley

Director

My name is Vallis Henley, and I was honored to open Geneva Presbyterian Preschool as the Director in 2017. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and a current Florida teaching license. In addition to my classroom experience, I have also had the privilege of coaching preschool teachers in best practices and developmentally appropriate instruction. I have been married to my husband, Kenny, for 30 years, and we have three wonderful adult daughters—Kendall, Logan, and Reese. It is a joy to be part of the Geneva family, and my hope is to provide a loving, safe, and joyful environment where every child and family feels welcomed and valued.

Cindy Kee

Director

It is a blessing to serve as one of the directors at Geneva Presbyterian Preschool. I’m Cindy Kee, a Florida Certified Teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in Early Childhood for 14 years, with 7 of those years spent teaching VPK here at Geneva. My husband, Michael, serves with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and together we have two children, Ally and Troy. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to partner with families, support our teachers, and help foster a warm, Christ-centered community where children can thrive.

Greetings, Geneva Families. I’m Carly Fleming, and this is my first year as the lead teacher for the VPK class at Geneva Presbyterian Preschool. For the past eight years, I taught the Tuesday/Thursday 3’s class, and before that I taught kindergarten for three years. We’ve been married for 23 years and have three children: Cole, Chase, and Eden. I love being part of the Geneva community and look forward to another wonderful school year.

Hello friends! I’m Monica McCormack, and I feel grateful to guide the Monday/Wednesday/Friday 3’s class through these important early years. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Florida and bring 19 years of experience, including seven years in kindergarten and twelve years with preschoolers. I believe every child is uniquely created by God and love encouraging their growth through play and hands-on learning.

Hi there! I’m Kaitlin Wayant, and I teach the Tuesday/Thursday 3’s class here at Geneva. I hold a BA degree from the University of North Florida and have spent the past decade teaching dance and fitness. Inspired by my own children’s preschool experiences, I knew I wanted to help create the same joyful start for other families once my youngest entered kindergarten. I look forward to guiding my students as they learn, grow, and discover their unique gifts.

Welcome, families! I’m Judy Revels, and this is my fourth year teaching the MMO Terrific Twos at Geneva. I have a BA from Virginia Tech and I’ve been working with toddlers for 18 years. Sherri Pedoulas

MMO 2's Assistant Teacher

My name is Sherri Pedoulas, and I serve as the assistant teacher in the 2-year-old class alongside Ms. Judy. After retiring from a career in marketing and event planning in 2023, I discovered how much I loved working with children while subbing at Geneva. Two of my grandchildren attended the preschool, so I know firsthand the strong foundation it provides. I feel honored to now be part of the team supporting Geneva’s youngest learners.

Mission Statement

At Geneva Presbyterian Preschool, we are committed to fostering a love for learning in a safe, loving, and a welcoming environment. Our mission is to help children know God and experience the joy of learning through active participation. Through play-based exploration, children engage with the world around them using their senses - seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and tasting. We believe that play is the foundation for academic growth, nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong passion for discovery.
