Our Staff

Cindy Kee

Director

It is a blessing to serve as one of the directors at Geneva Presbyterian Preschool. I’m Cindy Kee, a Florida Certified Teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have dedicated the past 15 years to early childhood education, including seven wonderful years teaching VPK here at Geneva. My husband, Michael, recently retired from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office after 30 years of service and now serves with the Duval County School Police Department. Together we have two children, Ally and Troy, who continually remind us of the joy and importance of investing in the next generation. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to partner with families, encourage and support our teachers, and help cultivate a warm, Christ-centered environment where every child is known, loved, and inspired to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Vallis Henley

Director

My name is Vallis Henley, and I was honored to open Geneva Presbyterian Preschool as the Director in 2017. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and a current Florida teaching license. In addition to my classroom experience, I have also had the privilege of coaching preschool teachers in best practices and developmentally appropriate instruction. I have been married to my husband, Kenny, for 30 years, and we have three wonderful adult daughters—Kendall, Logan, and Reese. It is a joy to be part of the Geneva family, and my hope is to provide a loving, safe, and joyful environment where every child and family feels welcomed and valued.

Greetings, Geneva Families. I’m Carly Fleming, and I am the lead teacher for the VPK class at Geneva Presbyterian Preschool. I taught the Tuesday/Thursday 3’s class here for eight years, and before that I taught kindergarten for three years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Florida—Go Gators!—where I also met my husband, Eric. We’ve been married for 24 years and have three children: Cole, Chase, and Eden. I love being part of the Geneva community and look forward to another wonderful school year.

Hi! I’m Dana Muller, and I am the assistant teacher in the VPK classroom. I’ve been part of Geneva Presbyterian Preschool since it first opened in 2017. My husband, Chris, and I have two daughters—one in high school and one beginning her second year of college. I enjoy traveling, playing pickleball, and spending time with my family. I am thankful for the opportunity to support our preschoolers as they learn and grow.

Sherri Pedoulas

VPK Assistant Teacher

My name is Sherri Pedoulas, and I serve as the assistant teacher in the VPK class alongside Ms. Carly. After retiring from a career in marketing and event planning in 2023, I discovered how much I loved working with children while subbing at Geneva. Two of my grandchildren attended the preschool, so I know firsthand the strong foundation it provides. I feel honored to be part of the team supporting the students here at Geneva.

Monica McCormack

3's Lead Teacher

Hello friends! I’m Monica McCormack, and I feel grateful to guide all of our 3’s classes through these important early years. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Florida and bring 20 years of experience, including seven years in kindergarten and thirteen years with preschoolers. Alongside my teaching career, I’ve also spent the past twenty-two years raising my three children. I believe every child is uniquely created by God and love encouraging their growth through play and hands-on learning.

I hold a Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism and am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I have worked with preschool and elementary aged children since graduating from the University of Florida in 2015 (Go Gators)! I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Carter, for almost 10 years and we have two wonderful children, Landon and Nora. Kaitlin Wayant

MMO 2's Assistant Teacher

Hi there! I’m Kaitlin Wayant, and I am the assistant teacher in the MMO 2's class here at Geneva. I hold a BA degree from the University of North Florida and have spent the past decade teaching dance and fitness. Inspired by my own children’s preschool experiences, I knew I wanted to help create the same joyful start for other families once my youngest entered kindergarten. I look forward to guiding my students as they learn, grow, and discover their unique gifts.

Mission Statement

At Geneva Presbyterian Preschool, we are committed to fostering a love for learning in a safe, loving, and a welcoming environment. Our mission is to help children know God and experience the joy of learning through active participation. Through play-based exploration, children engage with the world around them using their senses - seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and tasting. We believe that play is the foundation for academic growth, nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong passion for discovery.
